Inspired by Music.
Music can inspire you to do great things. Music inspires my fashion, the video below has given me so many new ideas on outfits and dresses. It can also helped me in my coursework for textiles, it inspired me through colour, outfits and the concept of the video. Aura Dione shows people that you can be yourself and be your own person in this video. I want to share this video with you because it could inspire you as well! (BTW I also love this song)

Skulls
A new clothing trend this spring/summer is skull designs. I have seen skulls everywhere, on clothes, make-up and shoes. There are many designs of skulls such as Mexican Day Of The Dead, Gothic Skulls, Pirate Skulls and many others. Here are some pictures for ideas on how to wear a skull design this summer.
As you can see skulls can worn with anything, feel free to experiment with this look. Never forget fashion is the art of self-expression. Also remember that you do not have to follow trends, you can your own person and be different!

5 Shoes Every Girl Should Have
In a woman's wardrobe there are a few essentials she should have. Every woman needs 5 certain shoes in her collection, they are:
Peep toe heel
A Peep Toe Heel is one of the most elegant shoes a woman should have, in my own prefer a Nude Peep Toe Heel because they make your legs look long and slender. Peep toe heels go with jeans, dresses, skirts, shorts and just about every other piece of clothing. I would wear a Peep Toe Heel with jeans.
Ballet Flat
The Ballet Flat is the most girly shoe in your collection. They go with everything and are suitable for all ages. This is one of the most casual shoes. The great thing about Ballet Flats is that you can find them everywhere and they are cheap. They are very durable and super comfortable! One of my favourite Ballet Flats are leopard print and I like to wear them with shorts and skirts.
Boots
Boots are great for winter, and they can come with a heel or without a heel. Boots look best with jeans but you can wear them with skirts and shorts.
Sandals
The Sandal is defiantly a spring and summer staple, whether it is a very basic or complex sandal a woman needs a pair of sandals in their spring/summer collection! Sandals look good with dresses (maxi dress, mini dress, tight dress) skirts and shorts.
Wedges
Wedges go great with jeans, dresses and skirts. They add a casual feel to any outfit. They are the most comfortable heel, they are easy to walk in, they give you height and they give your style. In my opinion, the Wedge is one of the best shoe choices!
So Ladies, I hope you now have these must have shoes in you collection because I certainly do! Have fun trying all the different shoes with different clothing. It's always fun to try new combinations.

Spring Hair Trends
With the start of every new season, come new trends. I love playing around with my hair and trying new things, so I decided to look into a few hair trends this spring. There is one which I have followed myself. There are many hair trends this spring, here are a few:
Glistening Hair
Slick with a centre part
Glossy locks and lips
Damp at the roots
Ponytails a Plenty
The pony bun
Tails that swing
Tied off with leather
Polished to a shine
The Urban Wave
The beach wave
A cool mess
Sprayed and side parted
Embellished Updos
Mermaids pearl hairpins
Piecey bun
Sophisticated Braids and Twists
Swept up
Romantic Twists
From the back
Fringes
Full Fringe
Side Fringe
Layered with fringe
These are some of the spring hair trends 2012. I hope these give you some ideas for hairstyles this spring. Some of my personal favourites are 'Sophisticated Twists and Braids' and 'Fringes'. I have gone for the fringe look this spring. My haircut was inspired by Taylor Momsen, you can see a picture of the hairstyle I was going for in the last picture of the fringe section. You can find more pictures and trends on Harper's Bazaar, Vogue and Elle. Enjoy this post and the picture, and remember you don't have to follow trends, you can be your own person and stand out, after all being different is always good and who knows you might just set your own trend! If you have any questions, you know where to find me, ask me anything here.
